This is a must read. Christina is an inspiring individual who overcame obstacles that are unimaginable. Her story is that of someone in darkness that finds light in hope. Her faith is tested time and again. I cried many tears for the little girl she was and rejoiced in her achievements. There are a myriad of emotions in the pages from rage to sorrow to hope to love. She moved me to want to be better. Truly an amazing human being.
Christina Meredith shares her story with unique courage. Follow Christina in her journey from abuse, foster care, and homelessness to become Miss California, a soldier, and a pillar of her community. Christina's beautiful and empathetic soul shines through every page. She will leave a big beautiful mark on this broken world.
I really could not put this book down. I thought there is no way a child can overcome this type of abuse and adversity. Christina had guts and such determination that is beyond belief. She is an inspiration to the world.

An Amazing story of courage from a very special person!
This book, and Christina’s story is truly inspirational. It’s a book you simply cannot put down. In fact, I’ve already read it twice and I can’t remeber the last time I fully finished a book! (3 small kids will do that to you haha.) Her resilience is amazing. She’s used her hardships to turn her life completely around. It’s the motivation and encouragement we all need.
I’m not one to leave reviews but this story really touched my heart. Christina’s story brings hope out of tragedy! It shows that suffering is not wasted. God uses even this to bring hope and redemtion. So encouraging for anybody that has struggled and endured trauma.
