This book has beautiful work displayed from artists all around the world. I was very disappointed that very little technical knowledge was shared. You're not able to expand the pictures, only the text which is ironic since there's not enough technique sharing. If the book says polymer clay ideas from artists around the world, the least it would allow the reader the ability to zoom in and admire their work better. I don't recommend this book if you're interested in extending your knowledge with polymer clay. It's mostly the artist biography how each were influenced to work with polymer clay.

Beautiful book. If you are interested in learning about Polymer crafting, you can't beat this book. For a craft book, it is a rare blend of good writing, great stories, and beautiful pictures and illustrations. I am avid reader but it is the first "art book" I have read and enjoyed from cover to cover.

As former editor and founder of PolymerCAFE, the first full color print polymer clay magazine, I had always wanted to branch out into book publishing, and Cynthia Tinapple's Polymer Clay Global Perspectives is one I wish I had made! I don't buy a lot of polymer clay books anymore, but every once in a while one comes along that I have to have, and I'm so glad I did. The focus on the next generation of clayers and world wide clay influences makes it interesting and a great read from cover to cover, so get it not just for the beautiful photography, you'll be happy with this one. Outstanding book about polymerr clay around the world, I learned a lot.

It displays the art of polymer clay through the work of Artists around the world as well as providing some projects.

This is a wonderful compendium of various artists that are not found in the U.S. very regularly. I am enjoying seeing new works and getting all sorts of ideas. I would have loved to have more tutorials, maybe we will see another volume!

did not find inetesring projects for me however put 3 starts as i like Cynthia website polimerclaydaily - that is great!! the book was not useful
